Around the League - Jan. 26-29
Sheldon Touhey (most wins, high P/M)
Steve Bourada (points leader)

Tuesday Super League
4 Spare Tires won 28 fo 40 games for a 9-point night. 4 Lumps were as dominant but had to settle for 7.5 round points. The Tires' good fortune was largely due to the great play of the returning Sheldon Touhey who won 9 of 10 games and had the high P/M of +44. Ron Bull, Curtis Houlden and Steve Bourada all won 8 of their games. Double EROs came from Ken Yee, Rick Emery and Russ Milks. Steve leads in player points while Ken has the best win percentage of 71.00%.

Andre Godin (perfect night, ERO)
Rick Empey (perfect night, high P/M)

Wednesday Copper
It can't get much tighter than it is in the Copper Division. In The Zone had a perfect 5-0 night and are now tied for first place with Kat's Pack. But watch out for Deep Fried Chicken. They also won all round points and are just 7.5 points behind with two matches to make up. Andre Godin gets the gold star on his forehead again. He had a perfect night, a tie for the high P/M of +22, and an ERO for extra flavour. Rick Empey was also 4-for-4 with a +22. Others without a loss include Frank Droog, Mike Devine, Justyn Rook and Jason Curran. Andre still leads in points with Paul Stacho close behind.

Ewen MacDonnell (3-for-4, ERO, 2nd in points)
Curtis Houlden (perfect night, beat me for a shooter)

Wednesday Bronze
It's even closer than it looks in the Bronze Division. 4 Play has 47 round points, but Hook 'Em Danno is owed a match result of 4-1, which will bring them to 46.5. Liquor Out is trying to keep it interesting with 40 round points. Could be an interesting race in the next few weeks. In the latest week of action, 4 Play, Liquor Out and Money Shots all won 4 rounds. Congrats to new league member Tanya Wilson on a rather good performance. Gotta give props to my buddy Curtis for a perfect night, and ... my, oh my ... Ewen MacDonell actually lost a game! He made up for it, though, with an ERO. Jeff Zimmer still leads in points.

Chad Lahey (perfect night, 2 EROs
Eric Beaudoin (4 EROs)

Thursday Vegas
Well it truly is a race for 2nd place now in the Vegas division. Back to Back Jacks are pretty much uncatchable, leaving Bellagio Here We Come, Seriously Casual and Tell Me Rye to duke it out for next-to-best honours. I'm With Stoopid had the most round points last week, with 8.5. Tell me Rye and Ballbreakers also had strong performances. Scott McGill, Chad Lahey and Franco Giaconne all had perfect 8-for-8 nights. Chad had a couple of EROs, Scott had a single. Pat Getty was impressive with 7 wins and 3 EROs. And Eric Beaudoin ran the table 4 times. Andre Noel had two EROs among his 6 wins and now has 16 in total. Nicely done, guys! Sunny Sarwahl is the man to beat on the players board.

Friday Scotch
Dirty Deeds had the strongest night with 3 of 4 round points. All other matches were 2.5 to 1.5. It's still a close race in Scotch Doubles, and Jayne's Addiction seems to be unwilling to relinquish their long-held lead. It'll be an interesting race to the finish line.
